Vienna House Tops Out

On January 9, 2025, a crane lowered the final cross-laminated timber (CLT) roof panel into place. Today BC Housing released a 30-second video to recognize the milestone.

Workers tested the installation of this sample Sapphire balcony on Vienna House in early December to understand the steps involved. In this model, diagonal suspension rods tie into the hanging hardware that will support the balcony immediately above.
